Alan Silvestri is an American film composer and conductor. A graduate from the Berklee College of Music, Silvestri saw tremendous success in collaborative efforts with highly acclaimed filmmaker Robert Zemeckis. Few of the movie scores include Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Forrest Gump, as well as the superhero films Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers. His work on Forrest Gump and The Polar Express recieved Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations.
