Winnie the Pooh

Piano Tutorials and Sheet Music

Winnie the Pooh was born in ... ok, fine that doesn't apply here. But even though this guy isn't real, just a fictional teddy bear, he's still had a major influence in many children's lives, teaching lessons of positivity and wisdom. He was created by English writer A.A. Milne and was first featured in his 1926 book Winnie the Pooh. And the rest is history. There's a street named after Pooh in Warsaw, "Ulica Kubusia Puchatka," and in Hungary, "Micimackó utca". And Pooh is actually based on a real bear! During WWI, a Canadian soldier bought black bear cub and named her Winnipeg, or "Winnie". She later became a resident of the London Zoological Gardens, where Christopher Robin Milne, AA Milne's son, started to love Winnie and eventually named his own teddy bear that. Quite a few great popular songs have come out of this TV show.
