The Wanted are a British-Irish boy band consisting of members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes. The Wanted were formed in 2009 through mass auditions held by Jayne Collins, who also put together The Saturdays and Parade. After three best selling albums and several top charting popular songs, On 22 January 2014, the band announced that they would be taking a hiatus after their current tour and pursuing solo endeavours for a while, but that they would work again together in the future.
