The Script is an Irish pop rock band formed in 2001. The band comprises of Danny O'Donoghue (lead vocals, keyboard, guitar), Mark Sheehan (lead guitar, vocals) and Glen Power (drums, backing vocals). They describe themselves as an amalgamation of different styles, like U2 meets Timbaland or Teddy Riley remixing Van Morrison. Says singer, Danny O'Donoghue, "Irish people have soul, it comes from generations of pain, and generations of understanding emotion to be able to physically get that in a solid sound."
