Ludovico Einaudi is a piano player and composer from Italy. He was trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan under the composer Luciano Berio in the 1980's. Einaudi commenced his career as a classical composer, and soon after began integrating other styles and genres of music, including rock, pop, folk, and world music. Einaudi composed the scores for a numerous films and trailers, including I'm Still Here and The Intouchables, the TV miniseries Doctor Zhivago and Acquario in 1996, which won him the Grolla d'oro for best soundtrack. He also put out a sum of solo albums of piano and orchestra, I Giorni in 2001, Nightbook in 2009, and In a Time Lapse in 2013.
