"L's Theme" is a song from the original Death Note soundtrack (Death Note Original Soundtrack) from the Anime series that started in 2006. L (full name: L Lawliet) is alledgedly the world's greatest private detective and tries to prove that the main character Light is in fact the mass-murderer called "Kira".
