Chase Rice took a long journey to the beginning of his music career. Graduating from the University of North Carolina, he was a pit member for NASCAR, working on Jimmie Johnson's team and winning two championships. He later joined the show Survivor: Nicaragua, opening many channels for fame. Learning how to play guitar in college, Rice began his country career wit his EP Ready Set Roll, which peaked at #1 on the iTunes Country album chart. He also co-wrote Florida Georgia Line hit "Cruise".
