Composed in 1900, "Flight of the Bumblebee" was introduced in Rimski-Korsakov's opera, The Tale of Tsar Saltan. Later generations are familiar with the composition due to its modern use as the theme music of the popular radio show "The Green Hornet" (1936-1950) and later TV show (1966).
