It is not clear what is the reason behind the name of this composition. Some argue that Elise was one of Beethoven's Mistresses, other argue that the name was distorted by later generations. Whatever the reason was, it is Beethoven's most famous piece.

Amazing how this song is challenging to most piano players but yet this was the first song that ever did on piano. Amazing and beautiful, came so far. :)
