"Lux Aeterna" is the leitmotif (a recurring theme) of 'Requiem for a Dream', the 2000 drama film. The theme became widely used in popular culture, and appeared in various films, incl. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (titled Requiem for a Tower).

    the way they play it is really weird. Its fine in the beginning but then it gets really messed up! i didn't like it that much.
